Request for Proposal, Develop in the Center for Innovation (Hillsborough County, FL)
Hillsborough County is seeking a master developer with the vision and experience for a historical opportunity to adaptively re-use approximately 74 acres of County-owned property in Tampa, Florida. The County is requesting proposals from qualified developers that demonstrate the technical and financial capacity required to deliver on a large-scale redevelopment of the property as a catalyst to the surrounding University Area.
Key goals for the project are to create an innovative and inclusive true urban mixed-use development focused on sustainable design, healthy living, and smart city technology; introduce desired targeted industries and economic drivers to the mix such as biosciences, life sciences, cybersecurity, and other advanced industries; and embrace transit and other forms of sustainable mobility both within the development but also externally to the surrounding community and the larger region.
